Shameless Bump

for those of you unfortunate enough to be stuck in the mid-west due to the weather; I thought this may help to lighten your mood (there is always someone less fortunate...)

It's been a few years since I last read this, but an advantage of having a terrible memory is that it's just as good second time around!

A new thread on the BA Forum (Record time spent in a lounge) suggested that you may be the winner Eightblack

Someone just linked to this on the BA forum.

You've just made my day - thoroughly enjoyed reading it all.

WOW! What a trip report. Just a shame the pictures you posted in the report no longer load.

Absolutely fantastic read. Picked up from the BA forum earlier as others mention.

There's a line early on in the thread regarding hire cars along the lines of 'not even needing to come to a complete stop before you put them in reverse' which genuinely had me in finished for a few minutes haha. Excellent stuff.

About the car. How did that get resolved with Hertz, or did you not hear anymore about it after plying their rep with a tip?

I'm glad this got bumped. Everyone should read all his reviews. I made the mistake of starting one at work and looking nuts for laughing at my desk, alone.

And hello Skyborne Flyer, my humble thanks for taking the time to read this old relic...

No, sadly I am still married. 16-years this November. But my next wife is going to be a cracker
