I disagree. Imagination is way better than any photos. And this trip report stimulates imagination like no other ^

Agreed. "8 Bottles of Dom" needs no visual aids. It's the "
bugger I am drunk " of TRs.

Let's say both are great, as I don't like a ranking. Also quality of trip reports don't depend on luxury they show even if I prefer ultra luxury ones by personal taste. Simply not a fan of Y, J or 4 star hotels. But it doesn't mean you can't report in a great way about them

I used to think this TR should be sticky, but not anymore because I still keep coming back and now I know how to find.
But I still strongly believe that this TR is one of the best to welcome new visitors.

Welcome to FT and the Trip report forum!
We all seem to be lolling when we read it.

This is wonderful. I hope my next premium long-haul measures up to a fraction of this (though I'd want the same fraction of the hangover).

A friend cleaned out 3 bottles of Krug on CX recently, I know not as exciting but more believable than 8 bottles on Dom

We always clear out the Krug on CX, they don't seem to cater many bottles for F.

This remains as the classic TR as long as FT is alive, I read this once a year or so and enjoy (envy!?!) it every time 😀
