1800hotels.ie in Chapter 11; now do I contact GTA?

1800hotels.ie are now in Chapter 11.
I have a pre-paid booking with them for a hotel in San Diego
for late August. They used a bed a 3rd party bed-booking company
GTA to process the booking.
Any ideas on how I can contact GTA to check if my reservation is still
valid?

I'm going to move this to Travel Buzz since it is not relevant to New Zealand Airlines. Best of luck to you in getting your prepaid hotel honored.

Check out this thread on boards.ie, an Irish site that has a lot of discussion about 1800hotels.ie. The first advice is to contact the hotel directly to see if they have your booking. Some people have been lucky, others not so.

The details for GTA travel

+44-20-7716-2400 (UK)
+1-212-334 1350 (USA)

and the website

Edit: Just found this article in the Irish Times regarding GTA & 1800.ie. It doesn't sound good

Hope it manages to work out for you. You should also contact your credit card company if you paid via cc.

I would contact cc company and get a refund. This happened to me a few times when companies shut down.. no problem, they refunded a hundred percent of the coin.

+1 - contact the hotel directly. If they have your booking, that's great. Ultimately even if GTA has your booking but the hotel doesn't, you'd be in trouble. If the hotel doesn't have your booking, call and dispute the charge with your cc company immediately
