I'm sad to say that I have crossed S.F.A. land borders.

1. France-Monaco
2. France-Belgium
3. Monaco-Italy
4. Italy-Vatican City
5. Italy-San Marino

That's it I'm generally a bit lazy when it comes to travel - if I can fly, I will!

Never somehow.

My list of international border crossings:

US-United Kingdom (by air at LHR)
United Kingdom-Ireland (ferry arrival at Cork)
Ireland-United Kingdom (ferry arrival at Holyhead, Wales)
United Kingdom-US (by air at BOS)
US-Aruba (by air at AUA)
Aruba-US (pre-cleared at AUA; got off the plane at ATL).

Don't worry, I'm planning more international travel in '09! (I felt a little left out at the MSP DO this weekend hearing everyone talk about international and realized I need to get out and see the world!)

The ONLY country I have arrived in via a land border is Canada.. Just walked across the rainbow bridge for dinner....

EVERY other arrival has been by air........ although I have arrived in about 10 countries...... by SEA.

We are crossing the borders in between USA-Canada/Mexico, too. I remember when we went to Mexico/USA borders near Yuma, AZ. It was interested where we were there from 7 years ago in summer 2001. Is that no restrictions crossing the borders?

You've got me beat. Hopefully complete:

1. USA -> Canada (as a toddler)
2. Canada -> USA (as a toddler)
3. India -> Pakistan
4. Pakistan -> Afghanistan
5. Afghanistan -> Pakistan
6. Pakistan -> Iran
7. Zimbabwe -> Botswana
8. Botswana -> South Africa (Note: We never legally entered Botswana, the train went straight through.)
9. South Africa -> Botswana
10. Botswana -> Zambia
11. Zambia -> Tanzania
12. Tanzania -> Kenya
13. Kenya -> Uganda
14. Uganda -> Rwanda (I feel like there might be another little country involved here.)
15. Rwanda -> Uganda (If there was an extra on #14 it's repeated here--we backtracked due to a closed border.)
16. Uganda -> Sudan
17. Sudan -> Central African Republic
18. Central Africal Republic -> Nigeria.

Oops, forgot:

19 (really, after 6). West Germany -> East Germany
20 East Germany -> West Germany

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8703e/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/104)

In addition to US (NY)/Canada (ON) at at least four different locations, and US/Mexico at San Ysidro/Tijuana, I've also done Sint Maarten, Netherlands Antilles; and Saint Martin, French West Indies.
