The TWA name when away as it was acquired by AA

TransMeridian Airlines

National Airlines (Las Vegas) disappeared

Midway Airlines

Vanguard Airlines out of MCI around 2002

Hooters Air disappeared (more or less, I think it's parent company Pace air still flies)

The short lived Legend Airlines out of Love Field in Texas

Caribean Sun http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caribbean_Sun

The original Pan Am completed it's final payment to former workers after a lawsuit was settled with Libya

Access Air http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Access_Air

America West (bought out USair, but kept the USair name)

Independence Air

Chicago Express after ATA went Chaper 11 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicago_Express_Airlines

Great Plains Airlines http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Plains_Airlines

I had never even heard of Pro Air until I found it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pro_Air

Or Reeve Aleutian Airways up in Alaska: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reeve_Aleutian_Airways

In the Canadian market, Jetsgo went under, and Canjet pulled out of scheduled flights. Also in Canada, Roots Air tried, and failed in 2001.

Yes, I remember what happening Southest is went out of business but, it was flies non-stop from FLL/SFB/PIE to eastern cities. I don't know which specific routes was flies in the past.

Also, I remember TransMeridian Airlines was flies SYR-FLL/SFB/LAS operated 727-200 aircraft, am I correctable?

I remember what happended Tower Air went out of business because it was took so longer delayed due to aircraft mechanical problems. It was older 747-100/200 series. I remember it was based in JFK hub. It was routes is JFK-LAS/LAX/MIA/FLL/SJU/ATH/CDG/TLV. I have a good memorable with Tower Air was flies non-stop from JFK hub.

Also, I know what happened National Airlines was based in LAS. It was flies nonstop from LAS-JFK/MIA/RNO/LAX/SEA/SFO in the past. After National was previously announced from LAS-PBI but, it was never started inaugurate flight in 2002.

That was all for now that I have a specific information the entire routes in the past.

We can add Harmony and Peace Air to that list, too.

I think that just like Ariana (Afghanistan's national carrier), Iraq Air went out of business when the US and Royal Air Forces became the official airline of those two countries.

I think both of them have resumed limited service since then.
