This is what I do if I'm having sinus trouble around trips.

My sinus infection is in the nasal area below my nose around the upper tooth/gum area while my nose itself remains almost totally clear. Will Afrin spray get far enough to make a difference? I started using the Ocean nasal spray every few hours yesterday after reading this thread. I've alternated using it with a Simply Saline menthol nasal mist. It's only been 24 hours but I'm thinking it's helped quite a bit.

I hesitate on taking a pain killer during the first flight since I have only 50 min for a plane change in Houston (which the airline told me would be enough barring flight delays). I also won't be meeting up with my travel partner until boarding the next flight.
