Might I suggest www.TripSpot.com as a good place to find all of these bookmarked sites and more. It's an independent site run by editors who comb through the net looking for the best travel Web sites. I saw this posting and noticed that almost all of them are listed on this Web site. Plus it's more organized than a huge list of links.
What is that website, owned by Travelocity that allows you to look at flexible dates for international trips? It has some sort of strange sounding name, I saw it on here the other day somewhere and can't find it now...
cheapflights2thailand.com which by the looks of it started out as a resource on flights to Thailand (as the name would suggest) but has recently been posting info on traveling cheaply within Thailand.
Has anyone done business with Best Weekend Holiday?
Their prices seem almost too good to be true.
Their website is http://b-w-holidays.com/?m=prices
I'm going to guess you'll not find any experienced FT'ers who've used this. Brand new website. Albuquerque PO box for an address. English doesn't appear to be their first language. Not one single specific example. The idea here seems to be - tell me which city you want to go to, send me money, and you'll hear from me within 24 hours. I'd rate that as not likely.
Actually if you try to book, they list city pairs (from/to).
It MAY not be an actual SCAM.
I suspect they (BWH) are actually bidding fares on Priceline for less than the $200.00. If Priceline accepts the bid, they forward the details and pocket the difference. If bid is not accepted, they return payment.
Maybe I should a website doing exactly that.
Some folks avoid Priceline due to the anxiety over bidding.
Where might a better place to move this discussion?

I found this website, www.chaago.com. They connect travelers with hotels to "create your own deal". Looks like they also have some pretty good last minute hotel deals, but it won't show up until you put in a city and state.
It looks like a cool site, just wondering if anyone heard of or used them before.
a New option www.chaago.com - pretty cool place to find deals & create your own deals
Pretty cool travel site that specializes in hooking up hotels and travelers directly..it is almost like Dell.."go direct". LOL.. It's kind of a cool idea to let people who like to bid price on their favorite hotels.. "you can really make your own deal".. I like the fact that I can actually tell the prospect hotels "hey, I need a Fridge for my baby's milk and want book 2 separate type of rooms (1 for in-laws) in the same request and don't really want to call the hotels on the phone while i am online. Anyway, finally someone figured out there are travelers that need special needs and you can't get that on Priceline or Expedia. I also saw couple of fairly good deals too on the site; but thought it was not good enough for my family budget, so I went ahead and create my own deals. So far, i don't see that this site charges me any fees yet..let's see what i get in my email-in-box. Oh, love the fact that I don't need to put my credit card to hold any bids.
Definitely a good option to have for the upcoming holiday seasons to save a few bucks for the family.
