Seems like a good resource for our Sticky thread of Internet Bookmarked Travel-Related websites. I'll merge it with that thread. Ocn Vw 1K, Moderator, TravelBuzz.

I may have missed it in here, but does anyone have a favorite site for last minute travel deals? (Just found out I will have a few free days to go somehwere from SFO from before to after New Year's and willing to be flexible and plan something at the last minute.)

Might not be useful to anybody else, but I like it because my job makes me spend a lot of time driving around strange cities:

http://www.radio-locator.com/ -- enter a city (or country) to get a list of local radio stations and their formats.

Moderator note: Topic check

Members, to keep this thread as useful as possible, may we please request limiting posts just to additional contributions of Internet Bookmarked Travel-Related Websites that are neither commercial posts nor mere thanks for member's contributions. While "thank you" posts are surely appreciated by the contributors, they are increasing, making it harder to find actual contributions. Ocn Vw 1K, Co-Moderator, TravelBuzz.

Swiss itieraries often are a pain in the arse to be looked up. However with the eticket number, they can be looked up here.

Packwhiz

http://www.packwhiz.com/

It’s a newly launched website which can generate packing lists for travelers to ensure they don’t forget something important. The site has clean interface and works with your existing Google account.

New Hotel Review website - oyster.com

Just found this new website, www.oyster.com and don't think anyone has posted on it yet, so I thought I'd share.

Love the website, which reviews only hotels, and only in 5 locations so far (Aruba, Jamaica, New York City, Miami, Dominican Republic). They have huge reviews, professionally written, and A LOT of pictures.

I just think the website is great. They have some clever ideas for comparing hotels in a city (best hotel rooms, best hotel to go topless in miami), great lists, very good writing, etc.

But the pics are really what I liked best about it.

Obviously, only 5 locations is annoying, but I'm sure they'll get a lot more soon if they're successful (Las Vegas in "coming soon").

I'm loving this site. It's the best packing site (for me) I've found so far.
