Talking My 'finds'

So, I've never torn my room apart (will from now on!), but have found a couple things on accident over the years.
1. Was in Gatlinburg, TN for a wedding about four years ago. Was staying with a girlfriend at a delightful place called Rocky Waters. I hear a scream and discover that she has found an obviously used pair of tighty-whities under the sink while looking for a hairdryer. I call the front desk, acting irate, hoping the room will be comped. The mgr comes to the room with an inside-out plastic bag and removes the offending garment doggie doo style. Apologizes profusely, but tells me he doesn't have the authority to discount the room, but takes my info down to give the owner. Who never calls....
Two years later I was going to Gatlinburg again, for another wedding, with my current girlfriend. I let her make the arrangements. Of all the hotels in Gatlinburg, she picks Rocky Waters. (Thought it best not to share the story with her
2. Stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel in Chicago over last St. Patrick's Day weekend with the gf. Found condom,in package, under comforter on floor by bed. Figuring unopened- no big deal, I left it there. Upon returning to the room, found the still unopened prophylactic on the nightstand, placed there by a well-intentioned chambermaid who thought it was ours!

Congratulations for the 1st find of 2008!

Over 200 nights in hotels since the start of this tread.

I've found a black eye mask for sleeping
Socks at more than one location
Maybe a grand total of $.50 in change
but no porn.

You clearly stay in the wrong hotels.

(Stayed at the Penn Club in London last week. Founded and operated by Quakers; hence the name. You don't have to be one, but the operative word is "sedate." For the first time since finding this thread, I didn't even bother looking.)

I'd say that hotel is overdue for refurbishment!

I found something in the Mariott Springhill Suites in PHX I can only describe as a battery powered soft silicon tounge and a bottle of "intimacy gel" in a freedom baggie hidden behind a drawer on the second floor.

I didn't open it,

From my experience at such places, I would expect the Penn Club to be good hunting ground - its always those quiet types....

on a related note, The NYTimes Crossword puzzle today featured the clue "Feelthy Stuff?" and the answer was "porn".

JACKPOT: Tower Hotel, London: Penthouse from 1997!

I've been staying at this hotel every week for the last several months and hadn't bothered to tear apart any of the rooms- working too late to be "bored", if you know what I mean.

But two weeks ago opened the cabinet that the minibar was in, and found a Gay DVD! Unfortunately I didn't bring my laptop with DVD drive, as I'm such a dog I'll watch anything...

So this week I figured I should tear apart the room, and hidden above the ceiling tiles in the bathroom was a plastic bag, covered with dust, and what do I find inside? A Penthouse from 1997!!! Hilarious to read, too (yes, I actually looked at some of the articles) as there was a lot of hoopla about porn on this new thing called the Web! Shocking!

Anyway- tagged and dated it and put it back. Room 215- you have to check it out. (Sorry, can't remember the room # with the Gay DVD, but I did leave it there!)

happy hunting

I left a nice, silk thong hidden in one of the suites at Westin Bristol Toronto. Apparently, the housekeeping staff didn't do a good enough job of cleaning up after the previous guest as I found this in one of the drawers.

Based on independent forensic study, I can confirm that the thong was previously on a petite, natural blonde.

Sheraton Centre Toronto...

...me and the missus did an overnight to see a show...upon returning to the room ...well no need for too many details but the cushions of the pull out couch ended up on the floor, and what do we find...a tube of generic KY and yes what looks to be a dollar store riding crop made of plastic ^
I guess the folks who had the room before us had more fun than us. Took this to the front desk, only cuz I wanted to see the looks on their faces when i presented it...the guy nearly doubled over with laughter. We even got points (I wasnt looking for any but he insisted)...so we got a surprise find and points (woo hoo!)

I first found this thread a couple of months ago. I really did not give it any credibility and only checked one hotel room and found nothing.

Well, tonight my family and I were driving home from Detroit to MN when I got too tired to continue and we stopped at a hotel in Rockford, IL. I was waiting on one of my kids in the bathroom of this suite and out of bordom looked on top of the cabinets in the kitchenette area...PORN!

I had to put it back right away before one of my kids saw it but it was a Club magazine from 2006. LOL, I can't believe this really happens. unreal!

Now I am in Monterrey, Mexico staying at a prominent downtown hotel. What was in this room? You got it....more porn. 3 DVD's under the bottom dresser drawer.

This is some sort of counter culture thing!
