Duty free shopping
I'm off to the UK next month. On the outbound I'm going via SIN, and coming back via HKG. I am intending to buy colognes at the duty free areas of either airport. I am just wondering whether duty free cosmetics are cheaper at SIN or HKG. Also, I've never been through HKG before - do they have pre-launches like in SIN?

SIN duty free is pretty cheap - especially this year with the S$ losing value against A$ and NZ$.

I decided to buy my cologne in SIN as it appeared to be rather cheap there and I needed to kill time for a 2hr transit. Got it for at least AUD20 cheaper than MEL airport. :O
However some of the shop assistants were very indifferent if not downright hostile.
