KVS- Is this any different than what I can view on "My Reservations" at AA.com or at www.virtuallythere.com ???
Also, AA.com shows award (Z inventory) availability 329 days out. AA Reservations can view it 331 days out. Which one does KVS Availability make available ??

AA.com "My Reservations" shows itinerary data; the current AA option in the KVS Tool will bring-up e-Ticket data. The PNR retrieval functionality of the PNR Manager automates access to this data; the data itself will not be any different.

331 days for AA award availability; 330 days for non-award availability.
Now, it works fine. Thanks!
When implementing [Proxy Authentication Options], please encrypt "username, password" part.
thanks again.
There is very little point in encrypting the proxy username/password, since they must be sent in plain text anyway...
To protect these credentials (and other locally-stored KVS Tool data), you can encrypt the KVS_AvailabilityTool.ini file, either using Windows EFS, or a stand-alone solution, like TrueCrypt.

The Tool Rocks!
I'm a long time user of the KVS Availability Tool and it has been very helpful in general. But today I found out just how useful it can be.
I have quite a number of AS miles and wanted to use them for a BA Trans-Atlantic FC partner award. AS requires these to be made via phone. Prior to calling I used the oneworld award setting to research availability. Since I'm going in July, this was very limited. Also I wasn't sure if a positive availability meant it was available for BA Members only, all oneworld programs, and/or any partner program (incl. AS).
After waiting for about 20 minutes on hold, I gave the agent my request, and she confirmed that all was available. I know I would have spent a long time on the phone had I not "known" what was available.

Does the KVS tool have a function similar to the ITA software matrix tool whereby one can check for fares, fare rules, routing rules, by inputting the origin city, the destination city, and the enroute stopover city? Can one input this third city's airport as a transit airport, and alternatively as a stopover airport?
As indicated in my example in the AC forum (link: AC/other airlines from YOW to Amsterdam/Delhi as part of same itinerary?), the only thing I could do was to input YOW and DEL as the departure and origin cities, respectively - and then input a given airline separately, and look at the routing and fare rules for each given economy fare type to see if an Amsterdam stopover was allowed. I could not find it. (PS-we are not interested in routing via USA). In my example, the second question is to use AMS as a transit airport - perhaps in one direction, and AMS as a stopover in the other direction.

No, such functionality is not currently supported.
