Itami airport question

I haven't been to Itami in about 10 years, and it looks like there have been updates on transportation options to Osaka.

I need to go to Umeda. Is hte best link Monorail>Hotarugaike Hankyu Station> Umeda Hankyu?

I used to take the bus to Nishinomiya- Kitaguchi, but this might no longer be necessary.

Any advice appreciated, thanks!

Hi Droneklax, I'm not based in Osaka but after a search, the route you mentioned seems to be the quickest.

Osaka Airport (Itami) - via Osaka Monorail (3min, 200yen) - Hotarugaike - via Hankyu express Trains (13min, 220yen) - Umeda. Approx. 30min.

There is also a bus to Umeda area which may be more convenient if you're carrying a suitcase. It does not go to the train station, it goes to Herbis Osaka, the shopping building where the Ritz-Carlton Osaka is located. Some of them stop at Osaka Marubiru (next to Hilton hotel) or Hotel Hanshin before Herbis. Depending on the time of the day, 3 trips/hour. 620yen, approx. 30min.
