Silverware with carry on

Will be any problem bringing silver spoons with carry-on? I understand that forks/knives most likely will be a problem, but how about spoons?

It is JAL's flight from SFO to SIN.

You would need to check with the airport security, e.g. TSA for SFO.

I can't see any possible reason why not, but then again the TSA does not always operate by logic and reason.

As long as you promise to not play the spoons for the entire flight they will be OK.

Oddly enough, TSA doesn't actually operate airport security at SFO. You'll actually want Covenant Aviation Security, the contractor.

But TSA rules still apply as they are TSA contractors

Covenant Aviation Security, a private company under contract with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), provides passenger and baggage screening at SFO.
