We have already been to the places we each wanted most, but we may go back to Africa.

Lebanon, Turkey, Russia and Australia. Mrs. WhatTheMiguel has done Japan without me, so I need to do that, too.

i was once within 40 km of Lebanon, but couldn't go as I only had a single entry visa for Syria and eventually had to get back to Jordan.

Two trips come to mind:

South of the Equator: Australia and New Zealand or Argentina/Uruguay/Chile

Ratkovo, Serbia. It is where my family is from so it would be interesting to tie in to a larger eastern European trip, including Hungary and Ukraine.

Cheers,

Our group has a 100% rate of whale to human contact over the past ten years.

Thanks to FlyForFun for letting me know about this great trip you take. I only have time to go every other year, and have a group I already go with. I can see why you go every year. For those unfamiliar with the 'whale touching,' it's near impossible to get into the bay without the whales coming to make contact. It's such a surprise at first, and you have to check to see if the ponga was pursuing them. But, no, the momma just brings the babes to the boats so that you can connect. What an immeasurable experience! I, too, kissed a whale!

Oh! I didn't even think to try a kiss! Have been able to touch a whale most every outing, definitely at least once every trip. Baja rocks!

I'm a train buff; the TRANS SIBERIAN RAILWAY has always fascinated me. There are (expensive) tours, but now doing this as a solo passenger is possible (though probably NOT easy).
Taking a branch-off to TUNGUSKA is on my "list": in 1908 a massive explosion occurred (lots of theories have tried to explain it).

DPRK (I thought about doing it as a weekend trip out of Shanghai while I lived there but decided it wasn't worth the risk)
Bhutan
Iran
St. Helena
Antarctica

Did Mauritius and Reunion before I left China. Well worth the long flight

I hit 3 'lifetime wish list' items this summer: Hong Kong, Australia (Perth), and Isle Royale National Park in Lake Superior.

On the wish list:
Atacama
Lebanon
Istanbul
Namibia
Polynesia
Southern Spain (doing this in October)
Iran

So many great places in this world to see, so little time to see them...

Antarctica and the old Silk Road route through China and the various 'stans are both trips on my bucket list. I'd love to see Iran someday, too, if the US-Iranian relationship ever thaws during my lifetime.
