ISIC Discounts?

So I recently booked a relatively dirt cheap student/youth fare from STA Travel to Australia over XMAS/New Years thanks to my $25 ISIC card. $1099 for CLE-LAX-SYD-LAX (A full RT priced out at around $1350). Since the cheapest fare on this route was going (at the time) for around $2400, I'll admit the card isn't completely worthless.

I've never used the card for discounts when I traveled and wanted to know if anyone knew of any other good ISIC discounts (especially for Australia). Can't get the dang website to load properly on my laptop anymore.

try studentuniverse - also often has good fares for 14-17 yr olds - especially if you need a one-way.

looking back, youth card was under 26 at one point

i wonder if there are threads on FT for this, or if it one of those 'private email/forum' things
"ISIC" appears in 157 threads on FT and that is specifically the student card

I usually compare STA and StudentUniverse. STA's fares to Oz were a decent bit cheaper than StudentUniverse this time around because of the booking fees SU charged.
