Obviously a mid Eastern airline. But what's wrong with the handling? What do you expect? White gloves and carefully placing each bag in an exact spot and dusting off their prints? This seems quite normal to me.

In other news....dogs chase cats and the sun rises in the east!

Yeah pretty much par for the course when it comes to baggage handling, nothing at all surprising here.

Those are just the ones with the Fragile stickers.
The others are handled by gorillas.

Yes a ME airline.

If you see carefully, the bags are all large and appear heavy. It is very common to stuff your bags with "goodies" for those at home.

We travel back to " home" with four full size bags filled to capacity ! gifts for family, friends, even servants and in my cases my favorite street food vendors !

Fragile things should be in carry on luggage if you don't want to see it get broken.

I had always thought that Fragile stickers served the same purpose as red rags to bulls.

someone once told me "FRAGILE! HANDLE WITH CARE" bright red stickers
draw as much attention as Playboy magazines to zoo monkeys. The
reason is that monkeys can't read English, so they can't read the articles.

the "someone" was a retired UPS delivery driver...

Best comment at the end of the article...

Another added: ‘Airlines might as well just use a dump truck to load and unload luggage. It's quicker and your luggage would be treated a little better.'

If bags were given the white glove treatment every step of the way, it'd take two hours to turn planes and at least an hour to deliver bags to the claim. Especially considering the fact people love to stuff them with 80 lbs of crap.

I'm willing to bet most people couldn't even lift their own bags over their heads and set them down gently. Let alone over and over again, rapidly. Or crouched inside the three foot high cargo hold of a 737. It's a very fast paced, labor intensive job, worked outside in the elements. The "rough" handling in that video is the norm throughout the industry, and doesn't result in broken items unless packing is done poorly. And its truly sad if these workers really lost their jobs because of some ignorant person decided to make a big fuss over them just doing their job normally.

To the masses of average size travelers, if you can't lift your bag more than 6 inches off the ground, don't expect a ground handler to either.

It would have been less effort to toss the bags lightly onto the belt. Note the treatment of the soft-sided duffel bag with clearly nothing breakable inside, it lands gently.
