How many miles have you flown in 2014?

The end of the year is fast approaching and many of us will be able to say how their flying statistics will add up for 2014.

A bit of a [edit by Moderator] contest for FTers, if you will.

I'll start

- 90089 miles in 2014 (88631 in 2013) - my new personal record
- 86 segments, of which 41 in Y, 38 in J, 7 in F
- 51 flights on BA

  • ~24000
  • 56 sectors
  • All on BA

I'm hoping 2015 will be a big swing towards more miles and fewer flights!

45 flights and 83,794 miles - higher than average, but much lower than last year. Only 15 flights on BA, and 9 flights on non-oneworld airlines. Flew on ten OW airlines in total. First flight on Ryanair since 2009 (actually not as long ago as I thought).

Highlights were a couple of new countries: Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia and Saudi Arabia (perhaps not such a highlight).

Flew 45 routes - and not a single one twice (counting a return flight as a two different routes).

Doubtless inverse correlation between frequency of posting here, and amount of travelling.

193,921 miles. All in economy bar the occasional opup. Not rushing to repeat it.

Cap'n Benj,

Purely for clarification .... was the methane your by-product or the aircraft's?

185 sectors, of which almost all were BA apart from a couple on Air Berlin and one each on Austrian and Flymaybe. Mostly in Europe, paid in Y, occasionally op-up'ed to C. 2 long hauls to ATL and LAX. Former in WTP, latter in CW on redemption.
New airports this year: LBA, CWL, ATL, LAX
Busiest week was 8 flights in 4 days
Total BA spend on AMEX £25,872 of £59k charged to the card.

How does one work out the actual mileage?
