worst airports for US-Europe flight connections?
Is there someplace I can find out which airports are best/worst for making connections to Europe? flying from LAX and have many choices (ORD,YUL, IAD, EWK, LHR and a few others). My concern is getting from one gate to the next and chance of weather delays.

Non stop from LAX is the very best airport for not having to get from one gate to another, and the lowest chance of flight delays. Plus you have a choice of non-stop destinations. After that, it depends upon the time of year but, generally, I would always go with the long overnight TATL and the short flight at the other end - it's more direct and much better for sleep and overall adjustment. If you need to change planes in Europe, generally the smaller the airport the easier, and after that generalisation it all depends on where you are going.

Hard to answer I think. You have to also consider the connection time. Just because an airport is considered "easier" maybe the connection time in another airport is better. Seems like there are far too many variables to consider with the information given.

What airline are you flying? Delta has direct flights between LAX and AMS (you'll be on KLM metal but book through DL). BRU might require a stop. If you have to make a stop, the only one I would absolutely avoid is CDG.

Try to avoid LHR. Unless you connect from British to another British, you have to change terminals, which involves leaving the terminal, getting on a bus for about a 10 minute ride, entering the new terminal, going through security again and going to your new gate. A frustrating experience.

Weather depends on the season. Northern U.S. often has problems during the winter, but is usually quite reliable in that regard at other times of year.
Getting from one gate to the next depends on the airlines. BOS can be awkward if you leave on a non-U.S. airline that departs from Terminal E, but international flights on most U.S. airlines depart from the same terminal at which their domestic flights arrive.
In other words: not enough information in the original post to answer properly.
