Javascript trick to find your Uber passenger rating

I have taken approximately 100 trips, primarily in Chicago and Seattle, and have a 4.8. Fun to know but I can't see how it matters.
Uber has rating system for Drivers and Passengers. Both can rate each other.
Uber doesn’t give any easy way for users to find their rating.
Follow steps below to find your rating. Either download the chrome extension or follow instructions manually.

Can a driver see a users rating before accepting the ride? In a nightlife area I can see this as helpful. Just deny repeated drunks who cause problems

On my second ever ride (last year in Chicago) I was picked up by an ex-cabbie.
Him: Are you new to Uber?
Me: This is my second ride. How can you tell?
Him: You have a 5-star rating. I've never seen that before.
Me: Huh.
Him: Yeah, because it can only go down from there.
