Lego Pilot Takes Selfies as He Jets Around the World With an Airline Captain

A British pilot, who is choosing not to identify himself or his employer, was given a Lego pilot toy set as a silly present. He's taken what was supposed to be his good luck charm (the Lego pilot) around the world with him and photographed their shared adventures.

You can follow the Lego pilot's travels here: https://twitter.com/theLegoPilot

Brilliant! Maybe I should start a LegoConsultant twitter. Track the travels of this consultant to the same airport, city, hotel, office every single week! On second thought...

Cool... but I take issue with "selfies" around the world. They aren't selfies, you can clearly see both of the lego pilots arms and a camera is in neither of them.

Very nice - reminds me of Flat Stanley.

Hopefully the airline involved won't get grumpy/rigid/rules-are-rules and put an end to it.

I'm sure Lego Technic (does that still exist?) could make a programmed mini-cam to get Lego arm's length selfies.

They really don't need PR do they when we'll do it so willingly? Amazing renaissance of that company and product in the last ten years.

Love Flat Stanley. I've helped a few people with their flat Stanley's on my trips. It's cute.

There is a Lego camera piece which could work. Could probably also use a regular flat 1x2 tile dressed up like a smartphone
