The moaners and groaners during an airline maintenance delay...
Is it just me or are the people who moan and groan during a maintenance delay just annoying??? Sitting at LGA waiting on MX delay listening to 1A moan and groan about how horrible life is because we are delayed an hour...... Just sit and chill dude.

New World problem.
I invite these people to fly in the developing world where the word "maintenance" has no equivalent in the local dialect.

I was just thinking exactly the same myself. I am a citizen of the western world and I get to fly a lot. I am so damned priviledged compared to about 95% of the world or more. But humans are humans and they will gripe if they have to wait 10 minutes for theirs bags of a carousel. Sad but that is the state of the world we live in. Just imagine if we were a parent of a murdered Kindergartner in CT shot by that ....... (hope the mods allow that word) that shot 27 dead. We are so well blessed.

Fuzzy Maths. Western "world" 5%?. USA alone is 4.5%
Not so privileged "world" .... ,France, UK, Canada and more than 5 billion people
I would much rather have the maintenance problem found while on the ground than to have it be a problem in the air. A better way to look at it is "weren't we lucky!"

Seriously. I'll wait however long it takes to keep me from potentially having an issue off the ground. First world problems indeed.
