I've booked a flight via Expedia on Philippines Air for this Christmas from YVR to LAS. Booking was made 3 months ago. Now i've realized that I need an extra day or two in LAS, and would like to push my return date. I talked to Philipinnes via Expedia and they said it will cost a change fee plus the difference in ticket price. A pretty standard response.
However, the difference in price is amounting out to 3x the original ticket price per person. This is highly unfavorable, so this option is out.
Is there any other way to get the return flights changed without paying the difference in ticket price?
What happens If someone misses the return flight? Do they still charge them the difference in price?
