In my case, it's more like trying to decipher the alpha/numeric code than the code trying talking to me. I try to think of ways to see if there's something in the PNR code that I can make sense/relate to so it can be easily recalled when I want to access a reservation for which I am using the FF number of another alliance airline in which I collect the miles.

Some of the more easily recalled ones recently were OX22LV, B2BJIP, GUMPFY.. Talk about reading into things.

Interesting PNR (Record Locator)

Recently booked a trip to SLC and saw my PNR was CAMPER.
Anyone else ever had a work or interesting PNR?

Mine is PILLOW for an award trip to HKG. The agent noticed it, too.

And sometime in the future, others will have those as well, since PNRs recycle.

I have an upcoming trip on bmi British Midland and their record locator is 69HULA, which sounds like some sort of intimate act that may be performed only on certain islands in the Pacific.

I think it was on SWA, but I will never forget having one that was MANMEAT... I tried searching through my email to prove, but I couldn't find it... will never forget that one.

Correction, just found it...
