I'm pretty sure the airlines filter profanity and other inappropriate phrases

My parents have one that's AFULWN. And there are plenty of people who do think Southwest is quite awful

I wonder if anyone else has ever noticed a funny PNR on their ticket? I searched, and only found 1 in the CO forum from several years ago.
Not a PNR but someone thought it funny. A friend I used to work with was born in Wagga Wagga listed on her Passport and at LAX they asked her to say the town name of where she was born. Once she said it the immigration guy said it and then called others over and asked her to say it again and they all collapsed in hysterics. Things have changed... LAX guys don't have a sense of humour!

Booked an ORD-RDU ticket today, the PNR ended in CUB. Coincidence?

AA always seems to have the most entertaining PNR numbers, because they're all letters, no numbers.

PNR for my flight to DFW today was TORNTO. Toronto is a regular destination of mine so it was easily memorable. In fact, I'm flying to YYZ in a couple of weeks, but on a different PNR.

I also had EWRCLE one time on UA, but neither Newark nor Cleveland was a part of my itinerary...

It's not a PNR but funny. Used to deal with welfare clients. One had just finished bible studies and had applied for benefits. The first 3 numbers in her id number was.... 666

My girlfriend and I had ZULYAH once. We've since adopted it as an exclamation of joy whenever something goes unexpectedly and exceptionally well -- the kinds of situations when others might yell, "Yahtzee!"

Merged with existing "funny PNR" thread.

Additionally, a quick reminder:

https://www.flyertalk.com/help/rules.php#threadtitles
Please create thread titles that are specific and descriptive and that contain an accurate (not misleading or sensational) characterization of the topic
Thanks. /Moderator
