Naked newspaper grab

So for the first time, after being on the road for about 20 years, I was caught this morning doing the naked newspaper grab in the hall from the hotel room.

I need longer...um..arms.

got up in the morning, opened door to grab paper and a fellow road warrior was walking by on way to breakfast. To make matter worse he just snickered.

Believe me the picture in your mind is plenty enough.

Depending on where you travel, in some places security cameras are getting somewhat prevalent in the halls these days.

So are you saying for 20 years you have been getting your paper over and over again every morning hoping somebody would see you naked, or that after dashing out for the paper you were caught?

It's not clear if you are embarrassed or thrilled

This is why I always appreciate early AM hotel staffs that make the effort to ensure that a corner of the newspaper is tucked under the door bottom far enough to reach the inside....

I don't grab the paper naked, but I do sleep in a large man's t-shirt and just the other day I opened the door to grab the paper and at that exact moment a coworker was walking past my door. No makeup, glasses, morning hair and a t-shirt is not how you want to greet a coworker.

Hi,

I generally wait until I'm dressed to get the newspaper unless it is pushed under the door ( or if I have a bathrobe in the room I will put it on)

Happened to me in Atlanta once. I was reaching around to put the do not disturb on the door. Boobs hanging around for all to see. Guy walked by and smiled...
