I can recall taking a hoagie sandwich through TSA checkpoint twice, both times flying PHL-RDU, and each time, the PHL TSA staff joked about how they would have to "confiscate" my sandwich.

Sometimes I wish that the TSA would use odormeters on some foods... at least bearclaws don't stink up a plane like McDougal's greasburgers.

A little OT.

We usually make a quick costco run for fresh/semi perishable foods when we're in the city before heading to the airport.

I can only imagine the poor TSA agent's face when he inspected our check in bag to find a tent, ham steak, corn on teh cob, butternut ravioli, perogies, a telephone, carton of ciggarettes, 100 pack lighters and a whole bunch of pet supply and building material supply brochures and pamphlets!
