Kayak Consolidated Information and Help Thread
Not sure exactly how new this is. I just read about it in today's New York Times.

The default departure city is San Francisco. I can't get it to default from my home city - I'd love to make THAT my home page.
Has anyone had a chance to test it's up-to-dateness? I LOVE the concept - just hoping for true availability on what is shown.

Really nice, IMO.
My default was ORD and it shows many cities around the world.
I tested ORD-ANC at $430 and selected CO. it gave me test dates and went to CO.COM and sure enough price matched.

Thanks....I happen to BE in San Francisco now, so I guess the departure city defaults to the server location of where one happens to be. It will be nice when I'm at home and it defaults to HNL.

I'm a teacher and used it to help decide on a place to travel cheap during July or August. I found a $460 fare to BOS to ANC through IAH, slept on it for 2 nights, and eventually got it for $485 on CO. About 9700 miles for 5 cpm. I think it's a great site for inspiration. Enjoy!

This has been around for a while. Another tool they have that's awesome is Insight. I've found several deals randomly watching this

DELTA lookup
I used this and found a trip to MCI for $260ai. However, when I tried to compare with delta.com which had the same flights for $480. When I went to delta via the kayak link, the flight was back down to $260.
