The first thing I would suggest is make sure you have upgraded to the latest version ... I was getting that error until I moved to version 2.2.4 as posted by KVS a couple of days ago.

Mavalenzu: PreferBulkhead's advice above is correct (as usual ).
I believe this means the flight is closed (no further boarding) or has departed (definitely no further boarding ). So is there any point in looking at a seat map of a flight that you would not get a seat on anyway? I believe DCS is the departure control system.

Actually, it meant that the flight was already under airport control (i.e. it was available for check-in), so the seat maps were "closed".

I got this about 8 hours before departure. Does it mean no seat reservation is possible using the commonly used reservation systems at this time?
We used web check-in to select a seat. I found that the seat selection was not visible on Amadeus' checkmytrip.com.
Does it mean data put directly into the airlines system are not updated back to the "GDS" reservation systems? Or is it just because of the "closed" status?
Does DCS really stand for Departure Control System? Can someone confirm this?
Furthermore: The reply says "USE >4.....". Does it mean with a different command (if we had direct access to the dialogue session) we could still see seat maps?
Sometimes its nice to have a look at the seat map shortly before check-in.

The airline wouldn't allow anyone to pre-reserve seats any longer, as PAX were already checking-in for that flight.

I get that until I reactivate the scripts for gallilleo.com ( I am using FF with NoScript ) but I get lost after that and cannot figure out how to get the seat map I think KVS posted how to do it recently, but my nomad skills are lacking ...
