Thanks again KVS!!
It is, likewise, nice to have you 'on-board'! Don't forget to browse through http://Help.KVSTool.com
The KVS SkyTeam reward engine IS nwa.com. No word yet on which other websites the tool will use to generate results once nwa.com goes away, but relying on KVS in place of nwa.com isn't really all that useful right now.
Knowing is half the battle. Go Joe!
I hope that is not the case as that is the whole reason I joined KVS. From the FT threads, I gathered that KVS would still have access to SkyTeam award availability...if KVS is simply using public web sites, then what is the point? The PNR access function is not as helpful as I thought either as it simply points me to the same PNR on a public web site (either the airline site or virtuallythere, etc)...KVS can you please confirm whether SkyTeam award availability will be basically lost by tomorrow morning when nwa.com gets shut down?

As per http://Help.KVSTool.com/#Classes, SkyTeam award availability comes from a number of different sources, depending on the specific carrier. Some carriers will not be affected at all (e.g. AF/SU/OK), NW will no longer exist, DL/KL will be switched to a different data source, for which arrangements are currently being finalized...

Thank you so much for clarifying this...you are an INVALUABLE source to FT and your KVS customers. What happens to KQ and KL availability? Or are those still in the works? So are you saying that tomorrow we will only have limited AF access (it's limited anyway since half the time, their flights dont even show on any tool)? Will DL/KL be available starting tomorrow? Hope that KQ will have a replacement very soon!! That's the one Im really hoping to explore over the coming week. Thanks again for being a prime example of customer service, KVS!!!!!

Good question...
Skyteam -> NWA.com (will probably be switched to Delta.com or another Skyteam member airline website)
Star Alliance -> ANA.co.jp (which is why you need an ANA FF# to use it)
Oneworld -> qantas.com (which is why you need a Qantas FF# to use it)
CX Awards -> cathaypacific.com
X1 (United Airlines) Awards -> United.com (until they changed things around yesterday)

Full award availability has just been confirmed for both AF and KQ. KL will be switched to a new source. DL award availability will be expanded to include all 3 tiers (Low/Medium/High).

When will this start? Im unable to find KQ award availability on KVS at the moment.
As a fallout of nwa.com going out, I presume there's some issues with Skyteam searches. Which ones are currently impacted? I'm trying to find award avail on KE/Korean and there's not much luck there. I don't believe KE shows award avail on the Availability tab, only the award tab. Am I missing something? Or is there a replacement?

For KE, only First award availability is accessible at the moment -- please refer to the updated chart at http://Help.KVSTool.com/#Classes for details.

I just started using KVS yesterday and its great that the X1 (United) awards and upgrades are working again, however, I noticed that the aircraft type is not showing. Is that normal? It does show in the StarNet search.
DL Booking Classes Displayed (Award/Upgrade classes are in green):
[*]DLM: Awards/SkyTeam
FS=R CS=O YS=N
FM=Medium F Award CM=Medium C Award YM=Medium Y Award
FA=High F Award CA=High C Award YA=High Y Award
[/list]
Thank you for providing all of the Delta awards -- looks great!!! A couple of questions: What are FX and CX? I'm seeing them on a number of flights, but don't see them in the list above. Is there a YX?

Reason: add additional info re: CX and YX question

What is the status of the new WSPAN seat map option?
SkyTeam award availability comes from a number of different sources, depending on the specific carrier.
Sure, but the search labeled "SkyTeam" was specifically a window to nwa.com and now is a window to delta.com. It was simply incomplete and SkyTeam searches required that plus other searches if there were other specific carriers that nwa.com didn't cover.
So now it searches delta.com which is fine for some inventory. And there are the other tools for the other carriers. But there is no coherent search for SkyTeam inventory and the one that is labeled "SkyTeam" was previously just searching nwa.com.
To suggest otherwise is rather misleading.

Passport/visa info comes from timatic.com. All the inventory searches are similarly available. To the best of my knowledge the only bits that aren't regularly available online to anyone are the MCT numbers, and that may just be that I haven't found them yet.
