Does anyone have the recent .dat airport file? Link in the original post is down. I am finding lots of Australia and NZ airports not existing.
Thank you
Thank you

How do you add airports? Or if anyone has the latest datafile, I could use it. Still missing some key airports in the one I have. The link from luv2ctheworld is from 2004, but it appears there is a datafile up to 7 years newer floating out there.
Thanks
Thanks

There is a plain text config file (airports.dat I believe). Simple format - lat, lon, and altitude. Get the coordinates from numerous places on the web. I can't imagine altitude matters that much though

Hi All-
Not that is is difficult, but I figured out how to update the file. I've posted the latest I could find here, along with several additional airports I added myself (mostly Australia-Pacific but some others too).
http://cpmaverick.com/ARPT.dat
I'll try to keep this updated as I add airports

I've just updated the file with all the missing airports from this thread (since I could never find the latest one).
latest dat file: http://www.cpmaverick.com/ARPT.dat
latest install (I could find): http://www.cpmaverick.com/flyingfish-1390-setup.exe
You'll need to install and then overwrite the ARPT file in the installation directory with the one linked above.
Please let me know if any airports are missing, or if there is a functionality problem, and I will update the file.
Happy fishing!

I use an Android App called MileCalc, works pretty well.
This program is 15 years old and has been basically unsupported since before the iPhone existed. We aren't getting new versions. However they might be something similar out there already.
