We'll launch the new account system in December. It really takes a lot of efforts to build an account system safe enough to keep users' information.
You will be able to register with a new user account then!

We’ve received many requests asking for an independent account system for users who don’t have or don’t want to link a Facebook or Google account to pointimize. We’ve heard you! Pointimize now supports a new account system which allows user to sign up with their own email! You can always link your FB or Google account in the future if you find it more convenient.

Thanks for your feedback!
We checked the account system and found there was an issue signing up an email account with upper and lower cases. We've fixed it and it should be working fine now!
As for the "Where" box in Hotel Search, it seems fine from my side. Can you be more specific about the issue (i.e. which keywords did you type? which browser did you use)?
