Some of you may have already heard of our tool – but since we’re in public beta now, I wanted to get the word out and officially introduce muchopoints to the FT community!
Traveling a lot for our jobs, me and some friends were frustrated that there was no single website comparing hotels not in terms of their price, but rather how much we would get back for staying with them. So we decided to build a simple tool that would help us and other travelers to maximize all the hotel points we would accumulate week by week… and muchopoints was born!
muchopoints lets you search for hotels on your paid or award stays:
We also allow you to create a free profile to factor in your elite statuses, credit cards and any current promotions. We even let you specify the dream destination you’re saving up all those points for! All this information is then used by our proprietary muchoscore algorithm to determine which hotels really give you the best bang for the buck (and no, they’re not always the most expensive ones!).
Just sign up (10 seconds), customize your profile (another 30 seconds), and you’re ready to go!
Currently, we support the programs of the following hotel chains:
