Nokia N97 availability and price at Dubai International Airport.
Does anybody know if the Nokia N97 is available at Dubai International Airport duty free.
And if so what is the price and does the keyboard has a US or US/Arabic type layout.
Because I’m in transit I’m only interested in the duty free information and not in other places in UAE places where the N97 might be for sale.
That easy, Because many topics start of with a simple question and before you know it the discussion is going about something completely different. Like the weather in Dubai or something like that.
And I only want to know if the N97 available is and what the price and keyboard type is. It is very simple.

Despite both the and the lack of attention to this thread, I checked anyway.
N97 price in DDF is a shade under 3000 Dhs, or just over $800. If buying in dollars its quoted at $828. They have white and black available.
Jacky's is now pricing it at 2820 Dhs, or $766. For anyone able to exit Dubai airport, it'd be cheaper to do so, get a cab to a nearby mall, buy the phone there and cab it back...

I didn't have chance to get them to open it up, I'm afraid.
That said, the Arabic keyboards don't tend to differ much. Still have the usual Latin alphabet, with added squiggles
