I guess we're just both really lucky.. I'd have to thank the bird droppings I received on my coat last Monday.. I guess it's really is good luck (even with the dry-cleaning bills)..

Thanks a bunch!
Just go back to the Nokia store and check out the new price
The deal was supposed to be 10% off the $699 price, but someone clearly messed up. It's going to be a LONG time till this phone sells for just $454.

The pre-launch deal price is (AFAIK) $699 with a free headset, or $699 - 10% discount with no free headset. Retail price is set at $699 (in the US at least) so the 10% discount is currently the cheapest way to get it.

Is the offered headset one of the better options available or are there better ones?

It was nothing special, just your average Bluetooth headset. There are much better products out there.

What I got is the phone, free bluetooth, and I bought an 8 GB memory card.. With a total of $551 including tax. Which is quite a sweet deal..

Of course. Any Bluetooth headset will work on it, including stereo Bluetooth headsets.
