Nothing but good things to say about the E71 (except the camera quality, but I never use the camera).

Highly recommended for email, wifi, gps mapping, Outlook synced calendar, etc.
Whats your take on the N97 and its specs...?

Will you be jumping ship once its available...?

It'll take an SDHC MicroSD, so at the moment 16GB is the largest, but 32GB will probably be here in a year or so.

As for your PM - you are asking the wrong person I am not a Symbian fan myself. Phones out there at the moment that I really like are the HTC Dream (T-Mobile G1/Android phone) and the HTC Touch Pro 2.

Not an iPhone fan, and not a Symbian fan. I'd pick Blackberry over Symbian.

You got lucky! When they woke up this morning, they realized that the coupon was not meant to work like that

The correct price was supposed to be $629, without the free Bluetooth headset.

Those that snagged this for $454 should keep their fingers crossed that Nokia honors the deal.

Hmm..... well, I guess the non-tech side of me cant find much to say against the Symbian OS. I have looked at the HTC phones but Im too much of a brand sucker to even consider HTC.

Back to the OS issue... dont HTC phones have Windows OS...? I thought that Windows mobile OS also had a bunch of issues.... or? Is the Windows OS that much better than Symbian...?

It's such a personal thing - the whole mobile OS is very much like the desktop OS - windows fans will always prefer it over MacOS, and VV.

I like Windows Mobile - it is by no means perfect, but it works, and it is mature enough that you can get things done. I find Android to be even better than Windows, it is much more polished, and the whole OS is just a pleasure to work with. That said, I don't know if any operator sells them in your country, so you'd probably need the Google developer version (which is unlocked and open).

That said - if you have your mind set on Nokia, by all means go for it. The N97 is an amazing phone, and I don't think it'll let you down.
