What do you mean by 'turning off'? I only got the device for a couple of days, so I'm still playing with it. I think it's supposed to turn off after a short period of inactivity?
Do you mean it's not turning on at all?

I have a micro SD card inserted but I cant find where in the menus I can confirn its properly inserted and ready to store data...
If you go to Apps>Office>File Manager you will see all available memory.
If you're MicroSD is seated correctly it will show up there.

Thanks.... when I go to the File Manager Menu... this is what I see:
C: Phone Memory
E: Mass Memory
F: Memory card
but... when I click on Memory card I go to another screen that says (no memory card inserted)...
I guess this means that Ive not inserted it correctly...???
Thanks,
Gaucho100K

No . you need to slide the key lock button, it will remain dark to preserve battery.

From the specs I've read, the device only supports up to 16Gb. However, I've read on a review site that Nokia typically supports the maximum limit of that card type, which means the 32Gb may or may not be supported.

WAIT - you got a 32GB MicroSD card? Are you 100% sure? The N97 is MicroSD only, right?
Cause AFAIK nobody is shipping 32GB MicroSD cards anywhere in the world yet...
