however i did end up getting the lowerpro D Res 240 AW, which is tiny. There is enough room for my eee pc, my camera body, two lenses, speedlight and my little point and shoot (mind you there is room for pretty much nothing else!).
However it is very small and should be fine to take on as a carry on with my rolley bag.
