Unhappy Star Alliance timetable for PocketPC - problems

I have used the Star Alliance timetable on my Pocket PC over many years, on different models. Including the one I have now (HP iPAQ hw 6915). Never had a problem.

But since some weeks: whenever I want to search for a schedule, the application wants to connect online - although it's an offline application! It's merely using Explorer as an "interface". Of course it can't connect, so I am stuck.

Anyone knows a trick how to tell either my Pocket PC or the application that it shouldn't go online when I am looking for a schedule?

Thanks for any hints you may have.
