Deal of the day - Garmin 650 GPS unit - $299 (Costco)

This was well over $650 when it came out, now Costco has it for just $299!

Link

This will make a great Christmas gift for the loved one that doesn't know how a map works!

You need to be a Costco member or they'll charge a non-member fee.

nice, but the x70 models have Europe built in, used it this past weekend in Munich and am so glad I spent the extra cash for it.

For Europe, is it better to add the Garmin MapSource City Navigator Europe on an SD Card for $269.95, or the Garmin MapSource Europe City Navigator DVD for $274.95?

I did a search on costco.com and it indicates the Nuvi 650 will be available after 11/18/07 but no price is listed. The Nuvi 250W is listed at $299 after a $100 online discount.

The mailer for this said it would be available next Monday, but it is active on the website today (I've been waiting, and checked yesterday and it wasn't available).

I picked one up for a gift at $298 - $1.99 cheaper - at Walmart.com this morning, but that was sold out before noon.

===EDIT
Odd, ScottC's original link does not work - here it is, still available - Garmin 650
