Silly, vexing question with WM5 and WM6 (smartphone version)
I cant believe I cant find this information, but I cant. I have a new XP system I am syncing my Dash (WM6) and TyTN (WM5) to. But it just keeps calling the device and the connection GF_1 or whatever. How do you actually name a device like a Dash in WM6 or WM5? Is it on the phone or the computer. I cant find it on either. Thanks.

Wirelessly posted (TMobile DASH: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 6.12) T-Mobile Dash)
Thanks. That is where it is on the TyTN but that window on the Dash doesnt have a device ID tab and is not editable.

Yeah, that's how I figured it out. You also can't change the Exchange server you sync to once it's set up. You have to hard reset, and ActiveSync will prompt you to set up a new relationship where you can choose a name.
