Silly, vexing question with WM5 and WM6 (smartphone version)

I cant believe I cant find this information, but I cant. I have a new XP system I am syncing my Dash (WM6) and TyTN (WM5) to. But it just keeps calling the device and the connection GF_1 or whatever. How do you actually name a device like a Dash in WM6 or WM5? Is it on the phone or the computer. I cant find it on either. Thanks.

You can't change it on the Dash once it's been set up. Dunno why.

Presumeably if I did a hard reset I could change it then? If so, where? Or is it in the sync that it is set? This came about because I was changing the computer I sync to. Thanks.

Yeah, that's how I figured it out. You also can't change the Exchange server you sync to once it's set up. You have to hard reset, and ActiveSync will prompt you to set up a new relationship where you can choose a name.
