Power tip (igo, Kensington, Targus etc...) exchange thread

Hi folks,

I'm going to give this thread a trial. Member Lurker1999 suggested it, post what you need, or what you have to give away. You can't charge for them per the FT TOS (except maybe to cover postage).

Lets start!

I have the following tips to give away:

iGo: Nintendo Gameboy Advance (A13)
iGo: Blackberry 7730 (A20)
iGo: Motorola (older series) A10

I will ship within the US for free.

Hi,

I'm using the M2 tip with a Nokia CA-44 cable for the E61. I recommend the 30W Power Hub, which allows you to power a notebook and charge a phone at the same time.

I use a Nokia CA-71 cable with the M2 tip to charge a bluetooth headset.

Kensington M12 Treo tip (Model 24508)

Kensington N3
Kensington N5

USModular PowerAid Mobile Universal battery tips:

I got yer J3 right here, pal. PM me and I'll send it to you.

I also have the following useless (to me) tips:

N1
N2
N3 (bye ThinkPad T42! You were sweet!)
N4
N5
N9
N15

I am looking for the ever-elusive N29, the new tip for the ThinkPad T60 and T60p. I'm off to Circuit City, where I've heard they can be found. On the way I shall be sure to curse Lenovo for blowing the ThinkPad power tip standard for the first time in 10 years.

I'll also take any and all N19s, for my business Dell, as I understand the half-life on these is about two months before they break.

None of my local stores had it. I ordered it straight from Kensington.

I have the full collection of Kensington tips available:

N1
N2
N3
N4
N5
N9
N15
N19 (for the latest 90w Dells)

I too, am looking for the N29 for the Thinkpad T60p, so anyone can point to a source that has them in stock (Kensington online doesn't seem to).

ON EDIT:

Well, I DID have the full collection of tips above available, but due to my luggage being lost by Lufthansa in Prague, when I finally got it back 50+ hours later, I find that someone had busted the lock off (though they conveniently put it inside the luggage for me!), and stolen the bag which had my spare Kensington powertips in it (along with extra cables etc). Ironically, I had several DVDs in the suitcase which weren't taken; they must not like my choice of movies.

Thanks,

Patrick

Hey thanks for the offer. I'm glad the thread is starting to pick up. I've already picked up a J3 tip but thank you kindly. I also finally updated my list.

N29 Powertip

I called Kensington and they sent me an N29 for free. It plugs straight onto the power cord so the plug+cable end is 3.375 inches long. Even when plugged into my T60p, it sticks out almost 3 inches from the back.

I also emailed Kensington and they're supposedly sending one out for free. 3 inches!?! What's Kensington's issue with creating this tip?

I haven't used my Kensington for awhile because I bought a Xantrex, but IIRC in addition to the N29 tip it requires a different plug for the voltage because the X60 and T60 needs 20 volts.
