Power tip (igo, Kensington, Targus etc...) exchange thread

Q. I bought mine on ebay and plan to use it mainly of AA so DC power is fine but does model 33197 come with an adapter for EmPower? I dont see one in the unit they shipped me.

Did you receive the car charger cord? Just push the little button and pull: the EmPower plug is hidden inside.

I just bought the iGo 70W for my compaq laptop, so have all the tips from that if anyone needs one..mail with a Cayman Islands stamp too

I do need a spare #34 tip for it (for my compaq 2510p) if anyone could mail me one.... actually to use on my Targus adapter, but I noticed that the Targus and iGo use the same adapter.

Thanks for the info, however, the number DenverBrian gave was for technical support. I got someone from India. LOL!

Anyhow, they referred me to Customer Service.

When I called Customer Service, initially, I asked if I could purchase one from them as there was no place on their website to order. The customer service rep. said that for some reason, although they have tons of them, they are not selling them in the stores and that they would FedEx me out an N29 tip for my ThinkPad T61 free of charge! Go figure.

I am looking for the ever-elusive N29, the new tip for the ThinkPad T60 and T60p. I'm off to Circuit City, where I've heard they can be found. On the way I shall be sure to curse Lenovo for blowing the ThinkPad power tip standard for the first time in 10 years.

I'll also take any and all N19s, for my business Dell, as I understand the half-life on these is about two months before they break.

My son was in RS this morning, and all tips were $4.95 in case you have not been able to acquire the Igo tips you need.
