Have you looked at Microsoft's Synctoy?

May provide the sort of functionality you want.

(I am of course assuming you're talking about Windows here)

I've tried Synctoy, and in my opinion, it's not very good. It is VERY basic, so basic that it has very limited functionality. Of course, YMMV
