The rest of the fleet don't have power plugs. Sad.
Actually the A320 and 757 domestic fleet have emPower, but they are often not working. Usually the 777 and 767 domestic fleet have them and they work. I don't believe the A319 fleet was outfitted with them...

you get 14.4volt from a car when it's running. lead batteries needs 14.4 volts to recharge to 12 volts.
I just picked-up my adapter from a local Apple store. Has anyone actually used one of these yet? The cable itself looks fine, but I'm a bit worried about the size of the empower connector - about 2", 3" if you want to bend the cable without kinking it badly. Given the location of the empower port on United's c-seats, this could be a problem. That said cable length looks good, about 56" connector-to-connector, and it generally seems well-made. (Unfortunately the MacBook Pro it will power has not yet shipped.)

Just returned from a weekend in NYC, and I used mine both ways (BA, in J on a 744).
Worked perfectly. Cable more than long enough, and a pleasure to use as there's no 'box' to get in the way.
I was on UA from SFO-ICN(777) in Biz and power adapter didn't work for me (or on the return). Tried again on a Domestic AA MD80 Flight and same problem. Any luck with this adapter? MACBOOKPRO COMPUTER

Used this on 892 and 893 without problem. I used it in F and employee used it in C. No problem.
Try this: boot up your computer with the battery, plug in the adaptor (light's green but not for long), remove the battery (fast, you have a few seconds) and there you go.
It's not the Magsafe that's bad, it's the power you're drawing from the seat.
I just used mine on an international 767 IAD-LHR and it worked perfectly. As mentioned, it does not charge the battery. The MacBook Pro can be a power hog.
