The Nano doesn't have these two outlets like the iPod and the Mini?

But I'm sure the Apple accessory companies are working their backsides off to design cool add-ons as quick as they can come up with them...

Well, I just ordered one of these, and I have absolutely no idea how to work one. I am a total neophyte. I am interested in putting my language c.d.'s on it, and also loading it with audio books to take while traveling. Just from reading what all of you have posted I got the courage to go for it. I grew up with rotary dial phones, so this is a leap for me!!

If you're not already using iTunes, you might want to get it loaded on your machine and start familiarizing yourself with it and begin ripping or importing your music/audio book collection into it. That way when your iPod arrives, you can just plug it in, load it up and use it.
