I've gotten it to work, but only as a "Mini-HTML" site, not WAP. If you have only a WAP browser, I think you're out of luck.

Not a wap site but you business travlers will find it priceless. I've used it too many times on my Treo.
Directory Assitance

mobile lookup of residential, business, driving directions, maps and reverse query. Way faster than using a wap web search.

This (ft/wap) is great! Is there any way of changing the number of posts per page or the kB sent before the 'more' appears?

www.eboogie.com --links to popular wap sites
www.mlb.com ----major league baseball (there are also 30 team wap sites)
mobile.news.com ----CNet mobile news
text.dslreports.com/ms ---mobile speed test (for your connection speed)
pda.edmunds.com ----Edmunds car pricing, etc. for WAP
pda.mobileweb.com ---another PDA WAP portal
wapswapcom --- mentioned elsewhere here---list of many WAP sites
wap.kodakmobile.com ---- Kodak EasyShare Gallery for Wap (you have to join)
PDAportal.com --- yet another list of WAP sites
