Google Inbox and mail app on iPhone
I am currently using the "Google Inbox" app. However I also have the mail app which is connected to my gmail account.
I was wondering if it is possible to get rid of the mail app, since I now have 2 mail apps synchronizing with the same account?

I don't believe that any of the native apps can be deleted.
I move the ones I don't want or need to a separate folder called Unnecesary.

Just remove the gmail from the iPhone native app, and it will no longer sync.
Go to Settings ->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Gmail and delete the gmail account.

I use the Gmail app on my iPhone but keep my Gmail account added within iOS so I can send mail from that account by clicking mailto: links in Safari or in other apps where I'd want to send mail. Else I'd need to manually copy the email address, open Gmail, and create a new message.
I just set iOS to Fetch that account manually so it doesn't waste space downloading mail to the native Mail app.
