I can't speak to the Android version, but I don't like the the interface on the iOS version of Google Hangouts. It is not a great replacement for the Apple dialer. The hide the dialpad, don't make it easy to switch from dial through to VOIP, etc.

Many of the roaming sims recently lost access to the ATT network so confirm. This

I am also looking for such a SIM and would like to keep it around indefinitely. So monthly costs when not using it is important. Has anyone used world sim?

I've used worldsim. Even in Europe it's giving us more problems now than it did a few months ago, as selecting certain geographic profiles result in picking up no service in some host countries while a more expensive profile selection results in picking up service in the host countries. That said, the virtual number capability and the relatively easy ability to keep the account around indefinitely -- whether with the same number or not -- is a plus.

At least some of the profile selections involve callback when dialing out, and that may be something that isn't all that usual for (or well-tolerated by) all users.
