Reminder to Activate Your Credit
Dear Apple Customer:
You previously received an email informing you that you were eligible for a credit in your Apple iTunes account, and that your credit was ready to be activated. The credit resulted from the Settlements reached with publishers Hachette, HarperCollins, Simon & Schuster, Macmillan, and Penguin in antitrust lawsuits filed by the State Attorneys General and Class Plaintiffs about the price of electronic books (“E-books”). Apple Inc. is not a party in these Settlements.
Our records indicate that you may not have already activated your credit. You can activate your account credit in the same way that you redeem an iTunes Gift Card. To activate your credit now click on the link provided below and enter your iTunes store credit activation code.
Once you have activated your account credit, you can use it to make E-book purchases on the iTunes Store. If your account does not reflect this credit, please contact the Settlement Administrator by phone at 1-866-621-4153 or by email at [email protected]. For questions about how to activate your credit from your computer, iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, review Apple’s instructions for activating iTunes Store codes at .
This credit will be available for activation until March 31, 2015.

A quick Google search (couldn't resist that one, LOL ) on above subject appeared to confirm its validity regarding Apple iTunes, etc. but flagged by many email servers as spam - https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6033433
