Haven't used mine in over a week, I think that says enough. The technology is definitely cool, but it just doesn't "do" anything. At least nothing worth wearing a piece of tech on your face all day.

Aren't there suppose to be apps. being developed during this beta period?
No killer apps. yet? I would guess AR apps of some kind? Maybe a GG version of Yelp would show you their ratings as you look at a row of restaurants?
Google wants you to be tied into the Internet all the time. They already have that with smart phone users but GG is suppose to give you local advertising?

umm... how?
im not very cool or smart but would love to fool around with one of these.
how do you get invites?
even if that was very easy I still gotta find a way to get 1500 bucks.
but it might be worth it since it would be cool to fool around with it with my family and friends. so might be worth it.

Looks like Glass has some competition:
Icis glasses by LAFORGE
They look quite interesting. Actual prescription lenses, with the minimalist look. And the app seems to be similar to Glass. It also charges by NFC-so no need to plug it in.
Plus its 1/3rd the cost of Glass.....
